What does the Free Starter plan include?
Free Starter gives your company limited access to every Buildstate module — SiteSign, SiteDocs and SiteITP — so you can trial the full platform. It includes 1 active project/site, 1 internal user, 50 worker sign-ins per month, 30 days of sign-in history, 2 SiteDocs documents per month with watermarked exports, and 1 SiteITP session.
Who gets billed — do my workers need accounts?
Billing is per company, not per person on site. Workers, subcontractors, visitors and deliveries signing in through SiteSign are never billed and never need accounts. Plans only count your internal users — the people managing the workspace.
Do workers need to download anything?
No. Workers scan the QR code with their phone's camera. No app, no account, no setup — they're signed in within 10 seconds.
What happens to my data if I downgrade or cancel?
Nothing is deleted. All of your historical sign-ins, documents and ITP records stay visible. Plan limits only apply to new activity — for example, creating new documents beyond your monthly allowance.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. There are no lock-in contracts. You can cancel from your billing settings at any time and you keep access until the end of the period you've paid for.
What's the difference between Pro and Business?
Pro ($99/month) covers full operational use for small contractors: up to 3 active projects and 5 internal users with unlimited module usage. Business ($199/month) raises the ceilings — up to 10 active projects and 20 internal users — and adds template management and advanced branding for heavier usage.
